Welcome to The Little Cake Cottage, a Leeds based cake design and decoration shop which has won top 3 best rated cake shop in Leeds for the last two years. After two years operating through a base in a local restaurant kitchen, we took the plunge to open a dedicated cake shop in the heart of Calverley village in 2012.
Since the opening of The Little Cake Cottage the business has gone from strength to strength producing cakes for a wide range of occasions, from fun and tasty cakes for a child’s birthday, to large elaborate wedding cakes for those extra special days. Earlier this year we moved to Roundhay to be in the same building as our sister company Lidgett Lane Larder where you are able to buy cakes by the slice that we make with a cup of tea, coffee or any other beverage.
We pride ourselves on offering exceptional cakes at incredibly reasonable prices, both in design and taste. We welcome you to visit our cake shop to learn more about what we do and what we can create for you.
Our Team
Richard (AKA Rich) started The Little Cake Cottage in 2010, having been involved with the catering industry for over 15 years. Working across a range of popular restaurants and fine dining bistros in Yorkshire, he has spent the last five years exploring a lifelong passion in cake design.
Shortly after opening the business, Rich’s sister Lizzie came to help out and has been working at The Little Cake Cottage ever since.

All our celebration cakes are baked fresh and handcrafted on site to your individual order specification. We put a great deal of time and preparation into the design and production of your cake to ensure that it not only meets but exceeds your expectations.
